The Academy aims to deliver: 1. High quality coaching 2. Professional off-field support 3. High quality programme of competitive fixtures 1. Coaching All Academy coaches will be FA qualified and, as well as giving access to some of the best coaches, the Academy will work to further develop its coaching team. This will include supporting coaching qualifications, training and development and exposure to coaching within Premier League and Football League Academies. 2. Support The Academy will provide support in areas such as sports psychology, health, conditioning and nutrition to support the development of the players. 3. Fixtures In addition to the Muratti fixtures at U-16, U-18 and U-21 level, the Academy will provide a programme of fixtures against Premier League and Football League Academies, International teams and FA County Youth sides. The Academy believe it is essential to future development that Guernsey’s best players get the opportunity to play against and learn from other off-island teams.

As a traditional rugby club, our doors are always open to any new players, whatever your experience and a warm 'St Jacques' welcome awaits everyone. Our First Team plays in the Verras Law JRA Channel Island league, The Hampshire Cup and against visiting touring sides. Our second team plays in the two local cups, the Bachmann Cup & the Simon Chandler memorial trophy as well as other friendly games. Training is usually twice a week from 6.15 onwards. Non-players/ retired players etc are more then welcome to join our club, and the club has an excellent social scene. Our Social Committee arrange regular events, as well as most weekends socialising after matches or just watching the rugby on the telly. You can guarantee that mosts weekends and evenings there will be something going on at our club. Our annual tour is infamous and a must for any rugby lover, our tour themes are always amusing and great times always await. Any teams wishing to visit Guernsey for matches or a tour are more then welcome, we are old hands at hosting visiting sides and will guarantee you a very enjoyable time.
