Northumbria Muay Thai with coach Craig Jose. Training is on Mondays and Thursdays 16.00-18.00 in Lipman Gym at Northumbria University. Open to all levels from beginners to advanced. Classes are mixed so ladies feel free to come down. No booking is necessary, just turn up on the day. The cost is £3.00 per 2 hour session for students and for non-students £5.00. Novocastrians RFC were founded in 1899 by ex pupils of the Royal Grammar School. Novos currently play in Durham/Northumberland Division 1. The Ladies side play in RFUW Championship 1

Killingworth Archers was formed in April 1975 with the help of Killingworth Sports Centre and North Tyneside Council. The founder members were Eddie Bransfield, Tommy Hagan, Derek Carter, Bryan Imrie and George McGowan. The club badge was taken from the design on the 'Killingworth' family stone, unfortunately so badly weathered now that it can no longer be seen in detail. The club shoots on Tuesdays and Saturdays. In the summer its Tuesday 6pm and Saturday 1pm at the Killingworth Young Persons Club. In the winter Tuesday 6.30pm at Wooden Spoon Sports Hall, Percy Hedley School and Saturdays 10am at Churchill School, Wallsend.
