The Judge And Jury is the newest Live Music Venue in Colchester, Essex. The venue has recently been totally refurbished to a high standard with the latest in sound and light technology to create a fantastic atmosphere for live music. Every Friday and Saturday night The Judge And Jury provides live music from Blues right through to Rock, and with extra special events on a Thursday evening this is definitely the venue for live music. The Judge and Jury is working in association with Jack Daniels and Carlsberg to bring some of the best live music to one of the largest stages in Colchester. The Judge and Jury is the creation of James Kingston, himself a singer and musician having toured much of America with his own band World Wide Spies and supporting acts such as Simple Minds, he has a great passion for the live music scene. You can occasionally catch James playing with his own band at The Judge and Jury called Wild Coyote. With The Judge and Jury being located right next door to the Colchester Town Train Station on St Botolphs Circus it is very easy to locate us. The Judge and Jury is open all week from 12noon. Located beneath The Judge and Jury is Tribal Underground, an exclusive night club which has also undergone a complete renovation with a completely new light and sound system. MoreFest 2013 is a new music festival set up to showcase the talents of the south west next to national artists. With Head line acts including Congo Natty, High Focus Records and Ed Solo – its going to be a big one! With the event supporting young, up and coming talent in the music industry and in visual arts there will be a lot for you to see and do all weekend – along with delicious food and nice views you’re in for a treat.
