Sparky started DJing at 18, starting out in small bars & nightclubs, he quickly started to be poached by other clubs in and around Edinburgh, building up a reputation, his first big support act came last september when he opened and closed for Rizzle Kicks & Loick Essien at HMV Picturehouse, the next was Sak Noel at Opal Lounge. He was then signed to be the official resident for Bass Face events, where in April he supported Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Sigma, Bar 9, Original Sin & Brookes Brothers.

Coming from five years of guitar, Daniel found himself first interested in the DJ industry while woking as a barman. He was taken under the wing by another local DJ and given the opportunity to learn the skills and techniques involved to become successful in the field. He was also given the chance to play warmup sets at many different clubs around Edinburgh, until he was confident enough to take on prime time slots. Over this time, he also broadened his musical horizons from playing mainly Electronic Dance Music to incorporating other genres such as Hiphop, RnB, Dancehall and many others, making him as versatile of a DJ as possible. At the current stage of his career holding 4 residences per week, and playing at events such as Octopussy, Jellybaby, Broke, Temple, Wild Ones, Club Paradiso and Hectors House, Daniel seems to only be on the rise and there looks to be promising things in his future
