11 DAYS OF MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA, ART and MORE IN THE HEART OF GLASTONBURY TOWN The Fringe is a series of events being organised by the amazing community of people in Glastonbury town who already promote, perform and produce events thoughout the year. The Fringe will bring them together for one big showcase of what Glastonbury, the town, has to offer. Plans are already well underway with details being added to the website as they are confirmed, but we thought it was time to launch ourselves on Facebook as well. The Fringe team are only co-ordinating what is going on, so if you want to perform/exhibit/take part then you will need to contact one of promoters or venues who are putting on events. The Glastonbury Art, Book & Gift Bazaar is held every Tuesday at the Assembly Rooms. We are currently looking for a few new stallholders. We are primarily an art market, offering a vibrant, friendly, low-cost environment for artists to work, network, and showcase their art. We also have stalls selling quality used books, handcrafted jewellery and fashion accessories, new and vintage clothing, natural health products, ritual items, antiques and collectibles and more. Most weeks we also have talented psychic readers and alternative therapists joining us. The Bazaar is held every Tuesday from 11-4, with free admission and excellent refreshments available from the Assembly Rooms cafe. If you would like to discuss the possibility of joining us, please send a message through Facebook or stop into the Assembly Rooms on a Tuesday and ask for Vivienne.
