Nutcracker (A Magical Christmas Play for All the Family) Role With It Productions in association with Helen Wilman School of Dance & The Town Hall, Hebden Bridge will take you on a journey to a winter wonderland this Christmas with their performance of ‘Nutcracker’. Adapted from the original tale by E.T.A Hoffmann this is a MAGICAL PLAY WITH MUSIC & DANCE, NOT A BALLET. The story takes place on Christmas Eve, when a visit by Maria’s Godfather Drosselmeier leads to untold adventures. The production will feature stage fighting. The tale of Nutcracker written in 1816 has fascinated and inspired artists, composers and audiences for almost two hundred years. It has retained its freshness because it appeals to the sense of wonder we all share. The world of Nutcracker is a world of magical pleasures. www.northofwatford.com will provide four professional actors & a creative team for this production. The role of Nutcracker will be played by Timothy Richey, WEST END STAR OF THE GRUFFALO. The performance on the 20th December will be translated with BSL sign language.
