21st -30th June 2013 the North Easts largest funfair comes to Herrington Park (opposite Penshaw Monument). With over 100 attractions including giant Roller Coasters, Log Flumes and old favourites such as Dodgems, Waltzers and Carousels. The setting, Herrington Country Park (DH4 7EL), is the ideal location for such an event being only 1 mile from the A19 with the infrastructure to allow parking for thousands of vehicles and easy transport links with bus stops outside the park. Free entertainment will be provided daily with character visits, stilt walkers + much more.
