Owner Gary comes from a family steeped in the automobile business. He served an apprenticeship as a panel beater and went straight into restoring and rebuilding classic and modern cars. He remembers at an early age converting narrow body Porsches to the wide-body look. He ran his own bodyshop for 10 years specialising in very high quality refinishing, including paintwork for several Ford show cars and
won a distinction award for his refinishing work from paint maker ICI.
17 years ago and after sourcing and supplying several client cars, he opened his first car sales business predominantly dealing in Jaguar, but including Porsche, TVR and the odd Ferrari. A hands on type when it comes to his personal cars, he has owned many Porsches including 7 993s (including a 3.8 factory 300bhp lhd car, a Turbo and his current Porsche, a Speed Yellow 993 with a full RS bodykit and interior and many engine, transmission and suspension upgrades), 2 928s, a 944S and a brown (!) 944 turbo. He has sourced many 911s and Boxsters for clients and several well known Porsche independent dealers and says a 997 GT3 RS may tempt him away from air cooled cars at some point! He has been a member of the Porsche Club GB for many years attending club meets when possible and does the pilgrimage to Le Mans every year.
