St Mungo's Parish Church Alloa
10 Bedford Place,
Alloa
,
St. Mungo’s was historically the Parish Church of Alloa but is now one of two Church of Scotland Churches serving Alloa.
The present Church has been on this site for nearly 200 years, work being completed in 1819.
The Church, the largest in Alloa, is one of the most important landmarks in the town and can accommodate most large and civic occasions. The Church’s Steeple towers above most buildings and can be seen from miles around.
The interior, which can seat 700, has been frequently re-modelled over the years and currently there are discussions underway on further alterations to the sanctuary to help meet modern day requirements.
