Beverley Town Council
Beverley Town Council is the most locally-embedded tier of local government and is here to serve Beverley and its people. It is a publicly-elected body, and is home to the Mayor, Councillor Margaret Pinder and 13 other councillors.
It is a consultee in the planning process for Beverley, speaking on behalf of Beverley and its residents.
The Town Council provides two sources of grants and funding via its Grants Committee, and through its relationship with East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Commuted Sums team.
It is also responsible for allotments, the all-weather pitch, the skatepark, CCTV, some litterbins.
It organises the annual Food Festival and assists with the Christmas lights switch-on and Beverley in Bloom.
