We hold social events, including a summer BBQ, ocassional speakers, seed swaps newsletters every quarter and liase with local Council. Membership includes affiliation with National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners.

We are an International organisation with over 250 groups (Circles) around the UK alone, meeting once or twice a month to get involved in all manner of social and fundraising activities. Some of Biggleswade 'activities' have included: a barge trip on the Ouse, Chinese New Year evening, Cheese & Wine, Giliding, Christmas Weekend away in London, Theatre trip, Belly dancing, Pitch & Putt, Dog Racing, Tapas evening . . . . Our unique organisation has a 70 year history, we are proud of our heritage but aim to be progressive and forward thinking too. Locally we fundraise for our chosen charities and we also support the national charity, Cancer Research UK. Over the past year we have held Think Pink fun evenings, helped out as marshalls at the Bedford Race for Life and packed shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. There are also events happening elsewhere in the area, nationally and internationally!
