Lanark Community Development Trust

Lanark Community Development Trust

C/O 30 Hope Street, Lanark ,
Hello and welcome to Lanark Community Development Trust on Facebook. Incorporated officially in June 2009, the Trust exists as an independent, locally rooted organisation with the interests of the town at heart. There is no shortage of community action in Lanark - indeed, the high levels of social capital available locally are clearly visible. However, ideas for new events and opportunities to use vacant land or reuse buildings often seem to disappear before anyone takes the initiative to turn them into real community assets. The Trust endeavours to further harness the skills and talents which exist locally to develop robust and sustainable solutions to the many issues which face the town today. The Trust is always on the look-out for willing support and assistance. If you'd like to become a member or support any of our current projects, please get in touch with us. We assure the warmest of welcomes!
