Bron ir Baben (Breast to Baby or BIBs) is a support group for breastfeeding women run by breastfeeding women. We are all Powys trained peer support counsellors with many years of breastfeeding between us. Offering online support, e mail, a telephone helpline and weekly meetings where you can meet with other breastfeeding mums, we also hold monthly seminars about a wide range of subjects baby related such as baby massage, slings, the role of a doula and paediatric first aid.

We are Ashfeild Community Enterprise (ACE); a socially inclusive community enterprise growing food for local consumption, providing space and workshops for new businesses and promoting healthy living. We grow and sell fruit, vegetables, plants and herbs. Ashfield was originally a tranquil and productive nursery site and house. It had been a hub of activity over the years, but eventually fell into a state of disrepair. ACE, a group of local people who reclaimed the land and facilities on behalf of the community, was founded and successfully secured a BIG Lottery Fund totaling over £400,000 enabling the purchase site and its redevelopment it into a now thriving and continually evolving environment for the community.
