The Midhurst West Sussex Community Page is managed by Midhurst Together, a voluntary group working to support interaction among all elements of the Midhurst community (business and tourism; arts and crafts; environment and heritage; sport; youth and learning; welfare, wellbeing and faith) especially by sharing information about each other's interests and activities.
We believe that a vibrant community is an attractive community, and a high level of community pride, interaction and energy is the essential foundation for high footfall in the town, and a more prosperous local economy.
Many of us have found that it is very hard to find out what is going on in the town. This is not only frustrating but also has a negative effect on the collective impact of all our activities, and on economic viability.
So we are committed to supporting more joined-up community interaction and information flows, as the basis for even greater sense of pride and enjoyment of Midhurst is a great place to live and visit, through a stronger print, web and social media presence, and more face-to-face interaction.
Midhurst Together holds informal meetings approximately weekly, announced on this FB page, twitter and elsewhere. All members of the Midhurst community are welcome to attend these meetings, and share their views constructively and join in our shared activities.
