Established in 1992, in Cockermouth, West Cumbria, Gordon Building Services Ltd by the present Managing Director, Steve Gordon. Over the years the company has grown progressively in stature, experience and capability.

GBS has always had the target of client satisfaction at the forefront of its thoughts. The success of this policy continues to manifest itself in the amount of repeat business that is generated from the existing client base; without exception.
The success of the family business has led to progressive expansion, which has resulted in more diverse work being undertaken and the head office being relocated to Lakeland Business Park in Cockermouth, Cumbria and a further office established in Greater Manchester. From this established Northern root GBS has the capability to accomodate works throughout the North of England and South West of Scotland.
The Company has total commitment to health and safety and has an exemplary safety record, which is managed by Company Director Nicky Gordon, who is qualified to NEBOSH standards and is a Technician Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. Aside to this high level of direction, the workforce is trained to CSCS, CPCS, New Road and Street Work, and IOSH Working Safely standards.
