Director - Ben Tipney
Ben is former international athlete and professional rowing coach, representing the Great Britain rowing team at a number of world championship events, and coaching the South African rowing team (Bronze medal at U23 World Championships 2010). He has taught and coached at a number of prestigious schools, clubs and universities in the UK and abroad, taking his first directorial role at the age of 26. He now develops personal and professional high performance programs, utilising his experience as an athlete and coach in high level sport, as well as his professional qualifications and experience. He values and builds on the similarity between the ingredients necessary for success in sport and those which allow for optimal performance and fulfilment in our personal and work lives.
During his time in South Africa, Ben was heavily involved in fundamentally changing the mind set regarding training and inclusiveness in the South African rowing system, as well as developing a relatively unrecognised school into the top team in the country.
One of Ben’s key strengths is helping clients to recognise and achieve their potential, often through breaking down self-limiting thoughts and beliefs. He has developed innovative ways to help clients understand the mind-body connection, enabling them to understand the physiology of emotions, as well as building effective, practical and sustainable physical fitness and nutritional programs into personal development strategies.

BA (Hons) - Leadership in Sport (Reading University)

Our everyday excellence team also includes a Counselling Psychologist, a former British Airways Captain who now specialises in Human Factors Training, and a Yoga Instructor.
