Founded in 2001 by two local mums, the Elmscot Group has 900 registered children. There are three Day Nurseries in the Elmscot Group for children aged 0-5 years: Elmscot and Woodlands in Timperley, and Hale, which opened in October 2011. All provide self-contained Nursery Schools, each led by a post-graduate Early Years Professional (ahead of the government's 2015 target) and each with a qualified teacher for pre-school children overseeing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) education. The Elmscot Group also includes School’s Out, seven out-of-school Clubs offering childcare before and after school for children aged 3-11 years and during school holidays for children aged 3-14 years, offering continuity for children who have attended Elmscot's Nurseries.
