Equine Assisted Learning is a process that brings horses and people together in a safe, natural environment where people have the opportunity to explore new behaviour and skills through interacting with horses.Like humans, horses are social animals, with defined roles within their herds. They have distinct personalities, attitudes and moods; an approach that works with one horse won’t necessarily work with another. At times, they seem stubborn and defiant. They also like to have fun. In other words, horses provide vast opportunities for metaphorical learning*, an effective technique when working with even the most challenging individuals or groups. Our Equine Assisted learning centre is situated on a 160 acre farm which is located in the quiet and picturesque village of Burgh St Peter on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. * Metaphorical learning refers to learning where individuals need to be free to interpret or make sense of learning in their own way

A lunch club is provided from 12.30-1.30 with an afternoon session provided from 1pm to 4pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Session is £7.50 and lunch club is £1.75

I am Stuart George a male Childminder based in Brampton less than a five minute walk from Brampton School from which all of the children I look after, before and after school go to. Some of those children have been at the setting for 8 years and have been looked after by the setting since they were 3 months old, some children have been at the setting for less than a year replacing children who have either moved or gone to school in Beccles which I cant get to now but used to when I used to work with my wife who has now moved on to new challenges I am allowed to look after 3 children under 5 years old, I have one space on all five days, and I am hoping to be full in the near future, if you have been given this information pack then it is most likely that what you have asked for is available and has been talked through with you over the phone, or by email either way hopefully you will like what you read in this information pack enough to come and pay me a visit, and hopefully see me at work. Little Monsters is a completely smoke free zone, it includes the garden and the car, if you are a smoker you will be asked to respect this on any visits. I work from 0730 to 1800 Monday to Friday, and I currently only take or collect children from Brampton School, I am willing to talk about the possibility of collecting children from nurseries providing it doesn’t’interfere with the smooth running of Little Monsters, which I would determine when I know what your requirements are.

We are open 5 days a week from 9.15am to 3.30pm and can provide a variety of sessions to suit your needs. We aim to open a breakfast club, after school club and a holiday club as soon as numbers allow.
