Mansion House Preschool Playgroup
Mansion House Pre-school Playgroup is a well established community playgroup with an excellent reputation and the involvement of parents on the classroom rota and committee.
We have two playgroup rooms known as Kingfishers and Skylarks. The maximum number of children for each session is currently 18 in Kingfishers and 12 in Skylarks. The rooms are vibrant with colour and provide a stimulating learning environment.
At playgroup, your child will be given the opportunity to be involved in a variety of fun, active, educational games and activities. We provide a warm, caring environment in which the children feel safe and comfortable to socialise with their peers and other adults. With increasing confidence the children gain independence to improve their personal, social and emotional development, communication and language skills, problem solving, reasoning and numeracy, as well as creativity, physical skills and their knowledge and understanding of the world.
As of July 2008, Mansion House Pre School Playgroup became a 'Company Limited by Guarantee'. This meant that, for committee members, financial liability would be limited. If their children are to attend, all parents need to sign a statement which entitles them to become members of that company - in the same way that someone might be a member of a library or gym
