Hi my name is Paula and I am really excited that my TinyTalk classes are currently running in the East Lothian area. I believe baby signing is the best tool in developing your baby's communication, in a fun and playful environment. I am looking forward to welcoming you and your little ones to my class. Tiny Talk classes are fun, friendly and relaxed. Each class is an hour long, the first half hour is where we sing well known nursery rhymes introducing signs along the way, using lots of props and puppets, play with musical instruments and every third week we sign with a special story. The lessons are all based around “themes” such as first signs, family, meal times, time for bed , clothing, weather, animals and going to the park. There are also festive fun lessons for special times of the year such as Christmas and Easter. Each week there is new core signs with lots of repetition enabling everybody the chance to learn the signs accurately and handouts are given at the end of the class so that they can be taken home to practice with your little cherubs and to teach the rest of your family so they too can learn. The second half of the class is all about the social aspect with tea or coffee and most importantly a chocolate biscuit. It is your chance to socialise, meet other mums or dads and a chance for the babies to play with interesting toys. It is also a chance for you to ask any questions about signing, whether it is clarification on a sign we have just covered or one that you need a wee reminder from a previous class. Signing with your baby can help baby communicate before verbal speech reducing frustrations and also encourages verbal speech. No experience necessary all we need is you and your baby, I look forward to meeting with you at one of my classes

Dunbar Art Classes is a new company based in Dunbar, East Lothian. We hope to deliver a range of courses in Drawing and Painting for all levels of student, from complete beginners to more advanced Artists and Art College applicants.
