Beech House Nursery School is located on the outskirts of Hereford, and when complete will enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of being set in a family home surrounded by a large, adventure-packed garden. Planning permission has been granted and work is underway to create a nursery that will provide tender loving care, individual attention and stimulating activities to nurture and support children's learning. It will comprise of a Baby Nursery for little ones from six months; a Toddler Nursery for tots from approximately eighteen months, and a Kindergarten for pre-school children. The continued growth and success of Physical Education and Sport at Hereford Sixth Form College has resulted in a significant increase in the number of elite performers starting courses at the college. In order to try and support the differing needs of these athletes we have developed an ‘Elite Athlete Support Programme’. For action and adventure, fun and friendship, the Army Cadet Force is hard to beat. With around 46,000 cadets (aged 12-18) and 8,500 adult volunteers in 1,700 locations in every corner of the United Kingdom, the ACF is one of the country’s largest voluntary youth organisations. It is also one of the oldest and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2010. We welcome boys and girls from the age of 12 (and in at least year eight at school), of all abilities and backgrounds, and through a broad range of exciting, challenging, educational and adventurous activities, help them develop physically, mentally and socially. Some of our activities have a military theme, others have more of a community focus. Combining military and community activities in this way enables us to offer our 45,000 young people a unique blend of personal development opportunities, all designed to promote fun and friendship while also helping them prepare for success in their chosen path in life, whatever that might turn out to be.

Over the past 3 years we have more than doubled our provision whilst remaining focused on the success of our learners.
