I first came to know of Baby Sensory when I took my daughter, Darcey, when she was four months old. We both fell in love instantly with the classes, which soon became the highlight of our week. Baby Sensory embodied everything we were looking for in a class. Stimulation and development for Darcey, and for me, interaction with other parents. Every week was different and everything was so beautiful. It was like no other class we had been to. When my husband and I decided to move back to my home town of Holmfirth, I soon realised that there were no classes nearby. I was gutted! However this gave me cause to think maybe this was the career change I had been looking for. After going through the necessary channels and training, I am now the very proud owner of my own Baby Sensory business. I have come to this world through being a mum myself and I have seen first-hand the benefits and pleasure that Baby Sensory can bring to parent and baby. I am SO excited to be able to bring the classes to the Huddersfield area and I look forward to meeting all the Huddersfield parents and babies. Leanne

Classes are small so that individual training can be given and range from 1-1 tuition to a maximum of 6 students on any course, (up to 12 on first aid course) ensuring that you receive individual attention and support from enrolment to certification. You will be taught by qualified and highly experienced tutors most with over 15 years experience. You may be qualified and working in the industry or running your own business within a short space of time. Our timetable is very flexible and we can organise dates that suit, if you can't attend the scheduled dates. Programmes of study are available on a part-time, evening and weekend basis. We offer numerous, bespoke, intensive, Fast Track courses from 3 to 14 days duration at affordable prices. We also have a range of half day, one / two day workshops.

We offer a wide range of daily activities and provide great facilities for all children. Our facilities/equipment include traditional games, sports equipment, arts and crafts materials, role play costumes, den making, table football, pool table Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation, DVDs and a secure outdoor play area. Woodlands Holiday Club is Ofsted registered and inspected (Grade (2) Good). All of our staff are qualified childcare professionals and all of whom are Paediatric First Aid Qualified.
