Our purpose built school means LILA* students study in style and comfort. Our bespoke school has 18 classrooms, some with interactive whiteboards, a funky common room and a self-access study / IT suite. Educational organisation which assists individuals to achieve their educational and career goals in respiratory practice, largely through the design, development and delivery of courses, study days, training events and research projects. These programmes support capacity and capability while addressing the personal and professional development needs of healthcare professionals within their chosen career pathway. The charity is unique in its focus and our flexible and adaptable approach enables us to meet the identified needs and requirements of individuals and organisations relating to respiratory practice. While, over the last 12 years, we have worked largely with medical and nursing professionals, our programmes are also structured to support allied health professionals, health care assistants and the general public. As a result, we have a wide portfolio of programmes and courses available which continue to adapt and grow, providing 'Steps to Success' for practitioners within respiratory practice. Our programmes are developed in conjunction with key stakeholders and delivered by a team of staff who are experts in the respiratory field. REUK's provision includes for example, COPD, Asthma, NIV, Spirometry, study days relating to e.g. consultation skills, concordance and compliance and practical skills.

Squash Nutrition makes creative social health projects that promote and celebrate well-being. We are passionate about sharing our enthusiasm for good food, urban growing and sustainable living. Our inter-disciplinary activities are concerned with participation, innovation and exchange. Squash collaborate with a dynamic mix of creative professionals on the delivery of a broad range of seasonal events, training and longer-term well-being development projects. The team comprises nutritionists, horticulturalists, gardeners, visual artists, architects, youth workers, performance practitioners and writers amongst many others of diverse ages and backgrounds. The initiative is lead by Clare Owens and Rebecca Vipond and is based in Liverpool.

We are a centre of education, primarily for women and we run our own enterprises which are open to the public. These include; an award winning Cafe Bar, a 30 place children's nursery, Hope street's first spa for women, a grade 2 listed conferences, events and weddings facility, and an urban honeybee aipiary.

Successful teaching is full of energy; it helps children look at things differently if they have difficulties. Great teaching builds children’s confidence by providing opportunities for success, this may be when children teach others or work together to complete challenges. After a long week in school, Finish Up Fridays tie up the loose ends and give time for children to learn and apply their skills in new situations.

Education for Young People NWTC's staff teach a growing number of engineering educational programmes, which underpin the vocational courses we provide. We are an accredited centre with BTEC (EdExcel), and City & Guilds, EAL and offer a wide range of courses, which will complement the training of your apprentices. Our students are learning Computer Aided Design (CAD) through a donation of progeCAD 2010 Professional by progeSOFT http://www.progesoft.com Specialist Industry Courses There are many areas of work where specific nationally recognised certificates are essential. We provide a wide range of courses to cater for these requirements i.e.: - 17th Edition Electrical Installation, Portable Appliance Testing, Manual Handling, Management of Health and Safety, Fork-Lift Truck, ACS Gas Installer’s Certificate, Power Press, COSHH (control of substances hazardous to health), Risk Assessment and many, many more. Skills Enhancement Or Multi-skilling as it is more commonly known. Companies are always looking for more efficient working methods in their engineering departments. NWTC has worked with numerous companies to devise different programmes, tailored to suit the individual needs of each organisation. These programmes include Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance, Electronics, PLC, CNC and Welding to National and International standards. Business and Commercial Management NWTC has a long history of helping first time supervisors and managers to adapt to their new roles. We now provide training; consultancy and career development assistance to people at all levels. We have also developed a range of senior management and consultancy programmes, including EU funded initiatives.
