We offer tutoring for students aged 5 – 16 in maths, English, spelling, comprehension and handwriting. We offer a free assessment and discuss any concerns raised by parents. With the information from this first meeting we are able to plan an individual programme of study for each student. The tutoring sessions are 80 minutes in length allowing time for a variety of teaching activities including written and computer based work.

My name is Clare Williams and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Carrbrook, Stalybridge. In addition to being registered with Ofsted I am also a member of PACEY (Professional association for childcare and early years). I am 31 years old and live with my husband Tony and our 5 year old twins Joseph & Charlie. We enjoy spending quality time as a family and often like to feed the animals at the local pond and farm.

Big Smiley Face Tutoring is a mobile tuition service for primary children. We work within a 15 mile radius of Stalybridge.

We will work with those young people, their parents or carers and their teachers to: • Give them a supported insight into the world of work • Enable them to identify their potential training or work aspirations • Help them develop their Key Skills (from September 2010, Functional Skills) • Assist them with recreational, leisure and sporting activities • Access to the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme These services are also available to young people in the NEET category.
