The redevelopment of Maltby Academy will result in a better campus experience for students and staff. The existing building which dates back to the 1960s will be demolished and replaced with modern learning facilities that are sustainable and take account of the needs of people with disabilities. We will be refurbishing the remaining buildings throughout the campus to enhance the facilities for students.
All the buildings will be controlled from a centralised plant room. This will make the campus easier and more economical to maintain..
Our work on the new Academy is scheduled to run until December 2013.
