Our main business is Hot & Cold Sandwiches, deli items such as quiches, home cooked sliced meats, and most recently tortilla wraps & Panini's. We stock a huge range of drinks, crisps, chocolate and bagged sweets. We also cater for Celiacs and sell a wide range of gluten free produce, baked exclusively in a gluten free bakery. Every cake is baked fresh, from our home kitchen in Driffield shortly before your wedding or celebration, never frozen. We use only the finest ingredients and we never use pre-mixes or shop bought cakes. Beswick Hall has established their Pedigree British Belted Galloway Cattle and Oxford sheep using the finest traditional bloodlines. Stock raised the natural way, fed on stuff grown on our farm to ensure the tastiest beautifully marbled beef and succulent lamb. All our stock originate from the top herds in the Country and we operate a closed herd here. We are members of the Belted Galloway and Oxford Down Societies. Both are traditional native breeds and the Oxfords are a rare-breed. During the Summer our Belties are conservation grazed on our Wetlands habitat here at Beswick, you can also see them at Tophill Low Nature Reserve, Watton and a Bryan Mills Special Site of Scientific Interest.

I started off just making cakes for my family and special occasions and after a certain amount of praise decided to create my business ‘Time for Cake’. I specialise in traditional home baking, from beautiful birthday cakes, with lots of sparkles to the traditional Victoria sponge, and everything in-between. Around eight years ago I was diagnosed with Coeliac disease so I also bake with gluten free ingredients, which everyone can enjoy. I cater for any occasion that constitutes a celebration and therefore requires a beautiful cake, or lots of classy cupcakes , rich fruit cakes , chocolate fruit cakes, biscuits , pastrys, or whatever your heart desires. Would you like to hold a vintage tea party?, with beautiful vintage china, delicate sandwiches, tartlet's , scrummy cakes, scones with fresh or clotted cream and locally made jam with tea and perhaps a glass of champagne.. I can deliver everything to your home, garden or venue, I can even serve it for you. How about a Vintage children's tea party, served on vintage china with pink lemonade or juice instead of tea, decorate cupcakes to take home, with a customised party bag, or alternatively a pizza party, the young party guests {with help} can make and decorate their own pizza, drink lashings of ginger beer or dandilion and burdock, a party bag will also be included. Thorleys Bakery is a family run business located in Driffield. All of our products are made, by us on the premesis in a bakery behind one of our two shops (Market Place and Middle Street South). Our range of products includes savouries, a range of speciality bread, confectionary, sandwiches and celebration cakes. We supply a range of other local businesses and also attend various farmers markets across the county, these include; Driffield on the first Saturday of every month, South Cave on the second Saturday of the month, Market Weighton on the third Saturday, and Wykeham every Friday. We have also recently started attending a new market in Wetwang village hall every other Tuesday.
