Alfa Bella was established in 1990 after 10 years experience with a local bakery ingredient manufacturer. We have grown a lot since then to our present size and in 2007, to strengthen our presence in the market, Alfa Bella was incorporated as a private Limited Company under the Companies Act of 1985. In 1998 we purchased a new larger warehouse to accommodate our expansion. This then allowed us to extend our product range and to cater for the services expected from us after being one of the first distributors in the country to have an online presence. Our current website was designed at the time when there was a lack of broadband connections, most people had to use dial up facilities which were very slow compared to present day. Now that everyone else has caught up with us, we are planning to update our website in the near future to keep up with modern expectations. We are an independent company which helps us to get the highest quality branded products at reasonable prices by dealing with different suppliers without any bias or favour to get the best deals. We employ local people, some of whom have been with us for many years. This enables our Customers to have a familiar point of contact and also helps us to understand the needs and expectations of our Customers. We have been a member of Tastes of Anglia (www.tastesofanglia.com), Anglia’s regional food and drink marketing group, for the last 10 years. Membership has helped us to supply a wide range of foods to different outlets including their own members. Over the past 30 years we have kept in contact with our Suppliers and they have given us the purchasing power to get the best deals for our Customers. We have an association with a Belgian Food manufacturer which enables us to have access to a wide range of popular European products. Some of our customers have been with us since the very beginning and we are now doing business with their second generation, this may make us look old fashioned but a lot of our customers still expect old fashioned style service. It is satisfying to see that many of our Customers have been recognised locally and nationally as prize winners in their chosen categories for their outstanding services and quality of their products. To satisfy a demand from our customers, over the last 10 years we have been breaking down bulk products and repackaging in sizes to accommodate the requirements of other food distributors and retail outlets under the Alfa Bella Foods Ltd label or their own labels. We always welcome new distributors in different localities to carry our profitable packs under our name or their own labels.
