Based in Market Drayton, Shropshire, Cooke's Cakes is a home business selling high quality cupcakes at affordable prices. We pride ourselves on having one of the largest ranges of cupcake flavours in Shropshire. We bake to order & would be delighted to discuss cupcakes personalised in any way you choose when it comes to flavour, colour & decoration. Our cakes are perfect for any occasion such as weddings, parties, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, Christenings & corporate events.

Our Christmas Extravaganza is on Sunday 9th December, from 10am until 3pm, we expect 60 producers to attend with live music and also the Salopian Brass Band playing through out the day. Childrens entertainment, Santa Cluase, The Salopian Brass Band will also be in place, come along, BUY LOCAL, EAT LOCAL

We are a group of (relatively) normal cake addicts who meet on a monthly basis to bake cake, eat cake and talk cake. If your cake-eating is starting to get out of hand then join us in chocolate-y demise as we snaffle our way through endless helpings of buttercream, sprinkles, pops and other baked treats. How It Works 1. Bake a cake, loaf, cupcakes, biscuits, muffins or anything else you can think of. We recommend about 8 portions (and if your goodies need portioning then try and do this before you arrive as we don't always have cake knives) Don’t worry if it turns out a bit wrong, ours usually do too! 2. Bring your cake to the event & pay your entrance fee at the door. Entrance for a baker is £3. If you would prefer not to bring a cake then you can attend as the guest of a baker, paying a higher entrance fee of £5. Maximum of one guest per baker please. 3. Pop your cake on the cake table and write what it is on the card provided. If you have a recipe for your cake then put it beside your cake on the table so that others can pick it up. 4. You can then try up to 4 cakes from the table. If you'd like sample more then we suggest a 50p donation per extra item - don't forget to bring a cake container to take your leftovers home with you! 5. Sit back and enjoy your cake! Cake Club normally lasts around 2hrs - most events now also include a raffle of prizes that are cake & baking related. Please bring some change to buy raffle tickets with if you'd like to enter.

Gill's Puddings Ltd is run by husband and wife team Kim and Gill Smith. It was established in 1996 from tiny beginnings at home in their kitchen, having outgrown the kitchen they moved the business to their unit in Market Drayton in 2001. All desserts are handcrafted to a high specification using the finest quality ingredients, including fresh Jersey cream and free range eggs, hydrogenated fats are not permitted in any of our desserts. We have one of the highest food hygiene standards and are annually audited by SALSA (Safe And Local Supplier Approval). Our desserts are produced to order and delivered fresh (minimum order for free delivery is £40). We started making a small range of individual savoury pies (already winning a silver award for our steak and ale pie) these are currently only available through our shop although we are currently sourcing manufacturing equipment so we can increase production to enable us to supply our wholesale customers. Our retail shop is open 10.00 am - 16.00 pm daily from Wednesday to Saturday. We are currently running an 'offer of the week' with 30% off a selected dessert, only available in the shop (one per customer).
