Ampthill Town Council
The Town Council (formerly Ampthill Urban District Council) has been a Successor Town Council since April 1974, pursuant to the Local Government Act 1972. Ampthill is situated in Mid Bedfordshire, with a population of approximately 7,000 and 3,150 households.
The Council comprises 12 members and meets regularly at the Council Chambers. The Mayor/Chairman of Ampthill for 2013/14 is Councillor Paul Duckett, Vice-Chairman is Councillor Mike Blair.
Opening Hours: 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and to 4.00pm on Friday. Closed for lunch from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
