We train 3 times a week with the aim of developing greater understanding of, and promoting, aikikai aikido to as wide an audience as possible. The teachers are BAB certified and are under the technical guidance of Phil Rozier of the Brighton Aikikai and Pascal Durchon (5th Dan Aikikai) The main teacher, Rick Smaridge was awarded 4th Dan by Christian Tissier Shihan in 2008

I trained at the Karuna Institute in Core Process Psychotherapy and have been practising since 1995. I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist. I have a Diploma in Supervision and have been supervising counsellors and psychotherapists since 2005. I offer a safe space to explore a range of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, bereavement and childhood abuse. I am a BFTA recognised Focusing practitioner and teacher and have been teaching Focusing since 2003. Focusing is a gentle but profound way of sensing inside and finding out more about yourself. It is not psychotherapy but a skill that can be learnt. Once you have learnt it you can practise it on your own or with a Focusing partner.
