Ashton-under-Lyne is a constituency centred on the town of Ashton-under-Lyne that is represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2001 by David Heyes of the Labour Party. Under the law of the day, the presiding officer chose the winner, and Addison was reelected.
