Hythe Marina Village
In addition, a regular ferry service runs from Hythe right into the centre of Southampton.
The marina entrance is controlled by lock gates, operated 24 hours a day throughout the year, and there is easy access to Southampton Water and several of our other marinas situated in and around the Solent.
Cruising enthusiasts can explore the Beaulieu River to the west or continue on to the bustling town of Lymington, close to the New Forest.
Heading east takes you to Portsmouth, steeped in naval history, and there are numerous anchorages to explore within the sheltered waters of Chichester Harbour. It's easy to pop across to our other marina at Ocean Village, in the centre of Southampton, for dinner or to visit one of the two cinemas there.
Boatyard Facilities
As well as providing first-class berthing and marina services, Hythe Marina Village has a boatyard within it, perfect for when you want to carry out maintenance work or need help in repairing your boat.
There is boat lifting for vessels up to 40 tons, including an emergency boat lifting facility, general cranage up to 8 tons and cradle hire for various boat types. All boat lifting at the yard is carried out by a professional, highly qualified team.
There is storage ashore for over 160 boats, including a secure compound for small boat storage – ideal for trailer sailors – as well as a slipway with ample space for trailer and car storage. There are also various marine services on site. For your convenience, both petrol and diesel are available, enabling you to fill up as and when you need.
