Moffat CAN is a community owned company working towards lowering the carbon footprint of Moffat. We have allotments for 25 families and a community market garden. We provide a kerbside recycling collection for 6500 homes in Upper Annandale. We provide local jobs for local people that sometimes have barriers to employment. So far 22 young people have had the chance of a useful and meaningful job with us. And we have Scotland's first Aquaponics Greenhouse - where we grow veggies in water and rear fish in tanks. The waste from the fish provides the nutrients for the plants ("the fish poop and the plants sook") - its a sustainable way of producing fresh local food.

We are a family run business that has been established for over 100 years. In our shop in Moffat we stock over 1000 different sweets and we are always adding more and more new sweeties every month!!!!
