Freddie's is a friendly social and snooker club. It boasts two full size, professional snooker tables in the separate snooker hall. Complete with professional lighting, cue's, extensions; bridges and rests. The tables are recovered periodically to keep the playing surface top quality and it has been known for the occasional top snooker player to stop by for a knock about. Freddie's sends several teams to the local snooker league, positions on the teams are up for grabs every six months with registrations needed before the start of each summer league and each winter league. As well as Snooker, Freddie's also has a large Darts following, with Men's teams and Women's teams. Places are available on these teams too, Darts teams need to be finalised by the start of each season for the Summer League (Charity) and the Winter League. Trophies won by our Darts and Snooker teams are displayed in the club trophy cabinet, in the main bar. Freddie's is a Real Ale pub, with two hand pumps selling traditional ale's supplied by Brimstage Breweries. The award winning Trappers Hat makes regular appearances along with Oyster Catcher, Sand Piper, Rhode Island Red, and Scarecrow alternating on the second pump along with seasonal guest ales. Freddie's also has a Big Screen TV showing a selection of sport, with Euro 2012 currently being shown nightly. And Cricket and Wimbledon to be shown later in the summer. Friday nights are quiz nights, a fun quiz is played each week with rounds including Current Affairs, General knowledge, Music rounds and picture rounds. However the quiz will occasionally make way for special entertainment nights. Live entertainment is usually on a Saturday Night, with favourites such as Mad Mike's Karaoke, Sparky - Guitarist and vocalist, and Jamie. Check in club for details and calendar
