Jamie Reed - With 16 years in the Media, a BA Hons in Film, TV and Radio Studies and a BA in Broadcast Journalism, it’s fair to say Jamie has got a fair amount of experience under his belt. His passion for perfection goes beyond your usual run-of-the-mill professional broadcaster. Because of his love for his home county as well as travelling as far afield as New Zealand, he sees opportunities in everyday life and wildlife and uses prime locations around Cornwall to set the scene. Jamie is fully aware of the scale of positive coverage and negative scrutiny given by the press about individuals, small and large businesses, councils and large corporations. When it comes to Media Law he uses exemplary skills to delve just that bit deeper to seek out the best probable route for clients to take if they are plunged into a sticky situation. He favours new challenges from all people and enjoys turning their ideas into reality using a little Farmhouse Magic.
Tania Reed – Putting her Education and English BA and PGCE in Primary teaching to use over several years in Kent and Cornwall means Tania has collected her fair share of creativity, people skills and an understanding of diversity amongst clients. She knows the value of hard work and flexibility and has a true love in Cornish landscapes including local gardens and coastlines. Her thirst to always better her skills, means whatever the new day brings, she will endeavor to rise to the challenge. Tania’s fascination for travelling and languages means her visits to the Indian subcontinent have given her experiences spanning from 15 members of a family in a rickshaw to washing an elephant in a Nepalese river. If it’s a funky twist on your photographs, a WOW factor event or a media training day for your business colleagues to remember then she’s got the eye for it.
Maria Tiplady – Originally, Maria’s amateur dramatic flair was turned towards her studying a BSc in Forensic Science and Criminology in London which saw her experience a different side of life than Cornwall but it gave her great scope for working with excellent minds and encouraged her to push herself that extra mile to achieve. After completing her PGCE in Secondary Science and teaching for 8 years, she knows a thing or two about crowd control and organizing some less than enthusiastic teenagers into passing their exams. Her love for travelling led her to Australia for a year’s sabbatical where her other passion – horse riding – was put into full capacity on a 70,000 acre farm in the Queensland outback. Another language lover, she is keen to try a new skill even if it means being out of her comfort zone. Maria knows how to draw a crowd and always puts her cheeky Cornish panache into her work.
Melissa Curnow - After studying a BA in Film and a Masters in Television Production, this young Cornish Editor has joined the Farmhouse Team to further her skills. Melissa has worked on a variety of projects since leaving Falmouth University and has a very keen eye for detail. She is also not averse to standing on a freezing cold RNAS Culdrose runway for a few hours just to capture the action for local charity events!
