Open Door is an independent community film club based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We aim to bring together the community through our shared love of films. The club is based in a space accessible to everyone, and we welcome anybody who'd like to be a part of it!
The club opens its doors every three weeks on Thursday evenings, 6-8pm. We are based in Skills For People Key House, Tankerville Place in Jesmond.
Tickets are £4 with free popcorn for everyone who attends, just to get you in the cinema mood! There's also a well-stocked cafe with drinks and sweet treats available.
Open Door encourages all its members to be as involved as they'd like. Feedback is welcome and at each screening we give you the opportunity to vote for the next film to be shown. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for details of all future screenings.
No support is provided, but carers attend for free.
