Cupar Dogsbuddy
Hi, I'm Karen. I live in Cuparmuir with my three dogs, four fire bellied toads and my leopard gecko (oh and a husband and son too). Here's some bits and bobs about me -
I have an NC, HNC and HND in Animal Care - all achieved at grade A
I am studying for a Certificate in Zoo Keeping
I have worked with Fife Council Dog Warden Service, SSPCA Angus, Fife & Tayside, Fife Animal Park, Greyhound Rescue Fife and currently work for SRUC (Scotland's Rural College).
I worked as a staff nurse and administrator before pursuing my childhood dream; to work with animals. In May 2013, I won 2 SRUC Cross College awards; SQA Award for Academic Excellence and The Business Gateway Award for Outstanding Achievement in Business Planning.
I am licensed by Fife Council to board dogs in my home and am fully insured to board dogs and provide animal care services such as dog walking and pet sitting.
Having worked in kennels, I know how stressful the kennel environment is for pet dogs - I know that I could never leave my dogs in these noisy, confusing and scary conditions. I started Cupar Dogsbuddy so that like-minded people can be away from home and rest assured that their pets are being cared for by an experienced, qualified animal carer in a safe and loving home environment.
