Home From Home Dog Care.

Clifton Cottage, mill road, Wollerton, Market Drayton ,
We are a fully insured and will only take up to 5 dogs. Situated in the village of Wollerton (just outside Market Drayton) a country home awaits the arrival of your much loved pet. Having owned and trained dogs for over 30 years, an experienced and loving lady will care for your dog whilst you are on holiday or just away for the day. Dog owners will have a choice of large kennel accommodation (3 dogs only) or for limited spaces your much loved pet can live in the house as part of the family. They will enjoy lovey walks in the countryside and plenty of free time to run and play ball either in our 20 by 40 arena or the enclosed area of the garden. Our aim is for your dog to spend as much time as possible running around and enjoying themself as they would at home. Most regular kennels have limited staff and too many dogs to ensure you pet gets the attention they need. With Home from Home Dog Care we do the oposite. A small number of dogs ensures excellent care and many, many hours of free time and fun. We can also offer a bath and grooming service for your dog if you wish them to have that special treat and come home smelling and looking like they've been pampered! Collection and drop off can also be arranged if required. Prices start from only £10 per dog, per day Spaces are limited and we get booked up pretty quickly so to avoid disappointment, call Victoria or Carol today on 01630 685367/ 07939331705 or 07836 581152

Does your animal have back pain? Just like humans, animals can suffer from back related problems which can adversely affect their behaviour, performance and overall health. I mainly treat horses and dogs but all animals can be treated. Back pain can be from a ‘one off event’ such as a fall or it can be caused by another injury or process and built up over a period of time. Chronic issues can often occur as compensation for other problems such as foot pain, ill-fitting tack, rider imbalance, dental issues etc. How does a McTimoney treatment help? The treatment is gentle, holistic, non-invasive and helps realign and balance the animal's musculo-skeletal system. Each vertebrae, bone in the spine has an optimal range of movement. If this joint movement is reduced then the body tries to compensate for the under-performing joint. Each treatment is tailored to the individual animal, involves specific adjustments, where misalignment is located, to release muscle tension, improve joint range of movement and so bring the body back into balance. Recommendations are also provided to encourage healing. All treatments are only undertaken with prior veterinary consent and works alongside other professionals, such as saddlers, farriers and equine dentists. Animals can benefit from McTimoney treatments to regain and maintain their comfort and performance. Depending on the original cause 3-4 treatments may be required to treat a problem but prevention is better than cure and a 6 or 12month ‘MOT’ is sensible. McTimoney treatment is one of the fastest growing therapies in the UK. Please visit www.charltons.info for more information on the treatment and its benefits or contact me on 07914648159 for advice or an appointment. Animals that feel good, perform and look good too!
