Annan anti-conservative society. Here is a wall where you can voice all your anger over David Cameron and the Conservative Party, past and present. Thankfully we live in scotland. Our healthcare, education, and public amenities are protected because they are controlled by the scottish government by way of devoultion. However, in england and wales, considerable cuts are being made to the NHS. The NHS white paper is rearranging the way the money is spent within the health service by delegating the budgets to general practisioners. The NHS white paper intends to surreptitiously ipmose cuts by reforming the NHS. It creates situations such as contracts to private health firms who can provide cheaper and possibly poorer procedures which could also increase waiting lists. Prescription charges have gone up in england to £7.40, at the moment they are abolished in scotland, but if the conservatives succeed in next month's election, the scottish NHS could see changes just as england. At the moment, higher education is free in scotland; In england, universities can charge up to £9000 in tuition fees. We can't afford to let conservative policies in england cross the border. We can't afford to lose hundreds of public amenities like libraries and toilets. Nor can we afford the staffing cuts and loss of EMA that's ruining the chances of a whole generation of young people in england. It's happened in the past, a whole age bracket disadvantaged by the conservative government, don't let it happen in the future. Currently, 18 of the 20 cabinet ministers of the conservative government are millionares in their own right, I don't grudge them that. However, this does mean that despite how often they tell you that they understand deeply the difficulties of the commmon people in the recession, they don't. NHS cuts won't affect them because they've got private healthcare. Tuition fees, pah, their children can afford £9000 on trainers because they can get everything you could possibly need, even a flat to buy, on the interest alone of their parents personal wealth. Don't beleive for a second that they are in touch with reality, it's just a bit of vote winning PR.
