Stockport Labour Group strives to serve all the people of Stockport and not just those in the areas where we have councillors. As the second largest political group on the council, it is our responsibility to always hold the ruling Lib Dems to account and to challenge them when they are failing the people of Stockport. Our group is made up of 21 Labour councillors, our local organisers and delegates from the four Constituency Labour Parties (CLPs) that cover the Stockport area. Getting involved The local elections in May 2014 aren’t far away and that will be your chance to tell the Lib Dems and Tories that enough is enough. Stockport needs change and the Labour Group is ready to deliver it.
