ShutterBug Training is a company that specialises in short courses on a variety of photographic disciplines.
We offer a relaxed, fun and fully fledged studio environment to train in and our approach is very hands on, there are no boring lectures or hours spent in front of powerpoint. We use the latest in camera, lighting and software technologies to train you to ensure that you learn relevant and up to date information.
There is no pressure in our training environment and we encourage group learning and activities to ensure you learn whilst enjoying yourself too. Photography is a hands on creative and subjective art, which is why I found learning from books to be a very difficult thing to do. When I was learning the trade all those years ago, I found the best way to learn was to be hands on and be able to interact with my tutor as and when I needed to. We have developed these courses to ensure that individuals get the best balance of teaching/practical knowledge to learn photography in a simple and fun way.
Our courses are very laid back and a lot of fun and our 100% positive feedback from our students is a testiment to that ethos, there is no death by powerpoint here, just lots of hands on tutoring and guidance.
