Italianos opened in December 2009 and was once ‘The Angel’ pub, but is now fully refurbished and is located in the heart of Alfreton on 26 King Street. The Chic black sign complements the slick interior decor with paintings and ornaments that embellish the green and cream walls. It has separate booths allowing a bit of privacy and also has a separate bar area offering an extensive range of soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and other beverages.
Food is fresh and cooked to perfection in an open kitchen by the head-chef who has had 10 years of experience working in a top Italian four star hotel in London. The restaurant offers a large number of tempting starters to perfect pastas, traditional calzones, and home-made lasagnes together with a variety of meat dishes including chicken, lamb, pork, fish and steak.
If the menu does not list the item you would like, or would like to add or minus an ingredient, the chef is more than happy to assist you himself, making sure that you leave the restaurant with the true heavenly Italiano experience. The staffs, although busy, are very attentive and are always at your service.
Weekends at Italianos are enormously popular; therefore advance bookings would be advisable to avoid disappointment. Reservations for Christmas are now being taken, treat your family and make it a truly memorable event.
