A listed timber-framed inn dating from the 17th century, located in the small village of Lugwardine just three miles east of Hereford City centre. Our aim is to provide a real taste of the Herefordshire countryside with home cooked food, traditional ales and a relaxing atmosphere. We use locally sourced produce throughout our menus, with beef and lamb from our very own Herefordshire farm. We serve beers and ales from Herefordshire based Wye Valley Brewery as well as a weekly guest ale. Our wine list has been carefully chosen to complement our selection of menus, with several wines available by the glass. We also have what we believe to be one of the finest selections of whiskies in Herefordshire, and are pleased to be able to offer a whiskey list to assist our customers with their choice of dram.
