Discover the world of dance through creative movement, props, and specially composed music, providing an ideal entry into the world of ballet and dance.
Exploring the natural motions of the body, such as, running, walking, jumping, and hopping, along with the use of props, mime, and songs, aids in developing children’s co-ordination, balance, and spacial awareness, allowing them to dance within the confines of their own physical development whilst safely learning the basic steps of ballet.
The syllabus has been developed alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and introduces children to fundamental curriculum learning skills such as counting, colour and shape recognition, vocabulary and language skills.
