Having worked as a professional actress and model for 10 years I gained good insight in to the world of make-up for television, film and photographic modelling. Although I was fully committed to my career I felt that I needed a change of focus but still wanted to remain in the industry that I knew and loved. I put acting and modelling aside and spent some time gaining experience as a make-up artist on shoots before deciding on some formal training at The London College of Fashion. Having moved away from London to Bournemouth my main focus is now bridal and special occasion make-up. It is really rewarding to be able to contribute towards the smooth running of a brides wedding morning. I especially enjoy injecting that bit of ‘calm’ in to, what can sometimes be a very hectic environment. I always start a makeover with a mini-massage facial. Not only does this prep the skin for long lasting make-up but it relaxes the bride for her big day. Special occasion make-up is fabulous too as it allows me to be more creative with colour and shapes depending on whether the client has an office ball, a first date or a night out clubbing.

I am a qualified and insured Make Up Artist trained at DFMA. I was trained by some of the leading make up artists currently working in the TV, film and fashion industry on projects such as Casualty, Holby City, Street Dance 1 & 2 and Kylie and Danni Minogue. Currently the staff body consists of 6 senior stylists who have all participated in various extra training at academys such as vidal sassoon in London. There are also 2 stylists and 2 junior stylists who have all completed 3 years of training and have in salon experience. We also have apprentices working along side the stylists to gain salon experience. Each year we take on at least 1 apprentice to carry on the in house training.
