Park Farm Livery Stables is a small and friendly, family run livery yard, situated in a beautiful rural setting on the outskirts of the Peak District. We're 15 minutes from Derby and Ashbourne and 10 minutes from Belper and offer full, part and DIY livery. The yard is manned 24/7 and the horses are regularly checked on during the day and evening. into 8 large indoor Monarch stables. There is all year turnout in post and rail paddocks with natural shelter from mature trees and hedges, and a 60 x 30m outdoor ménage is currently under construction and due for completion July 2013. Future developments are planned.

I am a fully qualified Pilates instructor (Pilates Institute) and Personal Trainer (Premier International). What I teach these days is not pure Pilates or Personal Training, however. I have integrated my extensive knowledge and understanding of how the body functions as a whole, taken from courses, workshops, books and personal experience, from various backgrounds, to create my own methods of teaching. Clients experience greater body awareness and respect, fluidity and ease of movement, relaxation techniques, methods to help their body stay mobile and strong, rediscovering a sense of fun and play. You won't be bored in my classes!

Style of Yoga - General Hatha - Although all Yoga which moves is a style of Hatha Yoga. A typical class structure with me is Movement (Asana), Breathwork (Pranayama), Relaxation. Often also include Hands on adjustment, Meditation and Chanting the Mantra OM - 'In the beginning there was the word and this word was OM!' Current Personal Favourite Chant - Lokah Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu - May ALL beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom for ALL. Classes are mainly mixed ability with emphasis on the practice being a personal journey, there's no such thing as competition in Yoga! We find ways to adapt and modify to suit all those who wish to practice - as it is said by Guru's "Everybody can practice Yoga" As well as offering 6 classes I can also offer one-to-one tuition. I'm interested in Massage and am a Reiki 1 Practitioner.
