Castleton School of Dancing is situated in the heart of Castleton in Castleton Community Centre. With over 40 years experience, we offer a dance education that builds confidence, determination, technique, strength and talent thus creating students to go on and achieve amazing things in all walks of life! Specialising in T.A.P, Ballet and Modern stage. We offer a variety of dance genres with fully house qualified and CRB checked staff. Our classes consist of a mixture of exam work in accordance with the N.A.T.D (National Association of Teachers of Dancing) syllabi and general class work for non-exam classes. New to our classes is STREETFIT, structured by Miss Jenny, involving the 'street / hip-hop style of dance.' Examinations in this genre will be coming into the N.A.T.D next year. Every two years we work towards our charity dance show at the Gracie Fields Theatre in Rochdale. These are always exciting times for us and our students as it's a chance for us to show off what we can do, have fun and do amazing things for those in need.
