North West Combat Jitsu

North West Combat Jitsu

Oak Avenue, Cheadle Hulme ,
North West Combat Jitsu has been formed in the North West by people who love martial arts, love to teach martial arts and love to see the benefits that people (old and young, male and female) can get from martial arts. These benefits come in the form of fitness, self defence, mental stimulation or simply the opportunity to learn something with a bunch of like minded people. The NWCJ philosophy is to take the best bits from everyone's experience of martial arts and to share them for the growth of all students. NWCJ focuses on practical techniques but is not averse to practicing techniques which are technically challenging and enjoyable to do even if they are not so practical. Sparring and 'getting down to it' are also part of the philosophy but everyone is encouraged to put in and take out what they wish. The two founders are keen that a certain standard is maintained when awarding grades but that classes are enjoyable aswell.
