Welcome to the official Facebook page of Hertfordshire Cricket. The structure of the the County Cricket Association changed in 2010 with the setting up of two companies limited by guarantee, and there are therefore now three corporate entities: Hertfordshire County Cricket Association (HCCA) remains as an unincorporated members’ association to which individuals, clubs, and the Associated Bodies - the Coaches, Groundsmen and Officials, the Saracens Herts League, the Hertfordshire Junior Leagues, and the Schools Cricket Association - are members. HCCA is managed by an Executive Committee comprising the four Officers, and there is a Council which acts as a forum for exchange of information between representatives of all parts of Hertfordshire Cricket. HCCA is also the sole member of the two companies, each of which is controlled by a Board of Directors: Hertfordshire Cricket Board Limited (HCB Ltd.) embraces all cricket development activities and junior representative cricket, both coaching and matchplay, at County and Area levels. By “junior” we mean “up to and including the Under 17 age group” for boys and girls. Hertfordshire County Cricket Club Limited (HCCC Ltd.) embraces all senior representative cricket, including the Minor Counties and the Women's 1st XIs and their Development XIs; the Hertfordshire Disabilities XI; the Over 50s, 60s and 70s sections; and the Hertfordshire Village Trophy.

The club was established in 1978/9 when it was known as Westbury United. The name was subsequently changed to Letchworth Garden City Eagles and by 2010 the club has expanded to over 450 registered players between the ages of 6 and 18 , boys and girls. In 2008/9 two adult teams were formed to provide an exit route for youth players. They compete in the Herts Senior County League. The boys and girls teams play mini soccer up to under 11, and full size from u11 to u18.
