WHO ARE THE CLUB INSTRUCTORS? Our Clubs chief instructor is Sensei Christian Whale 5th Dan who has been teaching in Porthcawl since 1993, he has had a successful career with the KUGB and specialises in training pupils for competition having been selected and chosen to represent Porthcawl and Wales on both national and international levels. Other instructors in the club are Mark Aitchison 2nd Dan & Richard Davies 1st Dan. Club Grading & Courses Our club grades every three months with KUGB instructor Sensei Garry Hartford 7th Dan AM I INSURED? All members of the club are insured under the umbrella of the KUGB, this is in a form of a license which is renewed on an annual basis at a cost of £18 for adults and £17 for children.
